BCCE 2026 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was a tremendous success, with almost 1900 attendees, including 788 first-time participants. A huge thanks to Sam Pazicni, general chair, Debbie Herrington, program chair, and the rest of the organizing committee for all of the hard work and care they put into making this event a reality and creating space for our community to gather. The BCC awarded over $61,000 in scholarships to 87 recipients to help support their attendance.

Planning continues for the 2028 BCCE to be held at the University of California, San Diego chaired by Thom Bussey and Jack Eichler. If you are interested in getting involved in the organizing committee, please contact them via the website.
