The Recognition Committee congratulates Resa Kelly, the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Service to the Division award. The award will be presented at the DivCHED Social at the Fall ACS Meeting.
More about Resa
Resa has provided many years of dedicated service to DivCHED and its members, most recently serving as Division Chair (2022–2025). During her term, she spearheaded the development of the Division’s 2024 Strategic Plan, helping guide DivCHED’s priorities and long-term vision.
Prior to serving as Chair, Resa served as Division Secretary and later contributed to the Finance Committee through her role in the chair succession. Her leadership, institutional knowledge, and commitment to the community of chemical educators have made a lasting impact on the Division.
A call for nominations for the DivCHED Outstanding Service to the Division Award will go out later this fall.
DivCHED members are strongly encouraged to nominate deserving DivCHED colleagues for ACS National Awards and ACS Fellows .The online nomination system for ACS National Awards will be open from August 1 – December 1. Nominations for ACS Fellows will open after the new year. The Fellows criteria include documented excellence and leadership in two areas: Science, the profession, education, and/or management; and volunteer service in the ACS community focusing on the results achieved.
