I look forward to the upcoming national meeting in Indianapolis, the first meeting I will attend in person since the COVID-19 pandemic started. I am certain I will enjoy the opportunity to participate in the many interesting sessions related to chemistry education included in the program. I hope to see you there. Remember there are also many virtual sessions for those unable to travel. It is incredible how time flies by.

It has been over two years since I joined the CHED chair succession where I have had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing people such as Dawn Del Carlo and Stacey Lowery Bretz, who have now finished their terms, and Kim Linenberger Cortes (our current chair) and Resa Kelly (our chair-elect). Kim and Resa have exciting plans for our division, and I hope you will join me in supporting their ideas and initiatives. I would also like to invite you to review the list of existing CHED committees and consider volunteering in one of them. Contact us if you have any questions on how to join other CHED volunteers who, like you, are passionate about improving chemistry education in the US and across the world.

Sincerely,
Vicente Talanquer
