BCC Fall 2026 Newsletter BCCE 2026 at the University of Wisconsin–Madison was a tremendous success, welcoming nearly 1,900 attendees—including 788 first-time participants—and awarding more than $61,000 in scholarships to support 87 attendees. Planning is already underway for BCCE 2028 at the University of California, San Diego, and proposals to host the 2030 and 2032 conferences are now being accepted. Pre-College Committee Fall 2026 News The Committee updated its Operations Manual to add Chair-Elect and Past Chair roles, improving leadership continuity, and successfully recruited new members during the BCCE 2026 Birds of a Feather event. The committee is also developing strategies to increase pre-college educator participation, preparing for the Fall 2026 ACS Meeting in Chicago, and finalizing plans with the Laboratory Safety Institute for a new Laboratory Safety Award for High School Teachers.
