DivCHED has recently renamed and expanded the former Passer Award Committee to the Professional Development & Travel Awards Committee. The committee now oversees both the Dorothy & Moses Passer Education Grant and DivCHED Travel Awards, helping streamline timelines, improve communication, and implement standardized evaluation processes.

Passer Education Grant Recipient

Congratulations to Dr. Scott Simpson (St. Bonaventure University), who has been awarded a $1,200 Dorothy & Moses Passer Education Grant to attend the workshop Computational Fluid Phase Thermodynamics: Prediction and Molecular Understanding of Physico-Chemical Properties in the Liquid Phase at the University of Regensburg.
