The Strategic Planning Oversight Committee (SPOC) was launched in March 2025, and is charged with supporting transparency, collaboration, and accountability in developing and executing the DivCHED’s Strategic Plan. As part of this, SPOC supports strategy teams working on specific initiatives. In the past year, strategy teams have contributed to the DivCHED website redesign, organized and hosted 3 division socials, hosted 2 professional learning opportunities, generated proposals for 2 new or revised division policies, taken steps to clarify the division’s structure and make it easier to discover available resources, and more! SPOC will be hosting its first open business meeting on Sunday, March 22nd at 10-11am Eastern Time (hybrid format) - we hope you’ll join us to hear more about these and future initiatives, and let us know what initiatives you would like to see!
