The Recognition Committee welcomes new members Linda Cummings (Chair), Marcy Towns, Stephen Podowitz-Thomas, and Virginia Davis. The committee also selected Resa Kelly as the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Service to the Division Award.

Looking ahead, the committee plans to send the Call for Nominations for the Outstanding Service to the Division Award earlier in the year to allow more time for submissions.

Additional efforts will focus on improving communication with the DivCHED community about ACS National Award opportunities, including the ACS Award for Achievement in Research for the Teaching and Learning of Chemistry, the George C. Pimentel Award in Chemical Education, and the James Bryant Conant Award in High School Chemistry Teaching, as well as other recognition opportunities such as ACS Fellows and Committee Service Recognition.
