The Division of Chemical Education is pleased to recognize Resa Kelly as the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Service to the Division Award.

Resa has provided many years of dedicated service to the Division and its members. Most recently, she served with distinction as Chair of the Division (2022–2025), bringing energy, thoughtful leadership, and a strong commitment to advancing the Division’s mission. During her term, Resa spearheaded the development of the Division’s 2024 Strategic Plan, helping to guide the Division’s priorities and long-term vision.

Prior to serving as Chair, Resa served as Secretary of the Division, where she was widely appreciated for her organization, reliability, and support of the Division’s leadership. She also contributed to the DivCHED Finance Committee (2023–2025) as an ex officio voting member through her service in the chair succession, playing an active role in discussions surrounding the Division’s financial policies and planning.

Through her sustained leadership, institutional knowledge, and dedication to the community of chemical educators, Resa has made a lasting impact on DivCHED.
