Greetings from the Biennial Conference Committee (BCC). Since the last newsletter, there has been a successful BCCE and plans are well underway for the 2026 BCCE. The committee is finalizing the review process for the 2028 BCCE and hopes to be able to provide more information soon. Finally, while the 2030 BCCE may seem a long way off, the Biennial Conference Committee is currently looking for potential hosts for that meeting. Letters of Intent to host the 2030 meeting are due in December 2025, with full proposals to be submitted the following spring. There are resources available that provide additional guidance on hosting a BCCE and preparing a proposal. If you have any interest in potentially hosting the 2030 BCCE or have questions about what type of information belongs in a Letter of Intent or full proposal to host the meeting, please feel free to contact either of the BCC Co-Chairs.

It was lovely to see many of you at the University of Kentucky for the 2024 BCCE. The conference was a huge success, with 1495 attendees, 97 symposia, 975 submitted talks, 50 workshops, and 4 poster sessions. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many thanks to Allison Soult (General Chair), Kim Woodrum and Irv Levy (Program Co-Chairs), and their Team for making the conference such a success!
