Report from the Committee on Computing in Chemical Education, Spring 2025 The Committee on Computing in Chemical Education (CCCE) supports integrating emerging computing technologies in chemical education. At the Spring 2025 ACS Meeting, CCCE will host sessions on AI and cheminformatics. Upcoming projects include an OLCC on Data Chemistry and Machine Learning, a book on AI best practices, and a symposium on VR tools for BCCE 2026. Volunteers are welcome to contribute.

Please contact the listed point people directly via e-mail if you are interested: Contributing to our efforts to develop written recommendations for “Best Practices for Use of AI in Chemistry Education.” We are looking for people who wish to help with the production and review of the document(s), help organize and run a symposium at the Spring 2025 ACS meeting, or participate in the symposium.
