Mission Statement: The PR committee is responsible for developing, updating and monitoring the Division’s communications policies, supporting the lead users of DivCHED social networking accounts as well as recommending new strategies for the Division to communicate by social media and other venues with DivCHED members and the larger chemical education community.
Stephen Prilliman, current chair, is stepping down at the end of this calendar year and committee member Troy Alivio has agreed to take on the chair role. The remainder of this year will serve as a transition period and (at Troy's request), Stephen will remain on the committee to provide continuity and ensure institutional memory.
The committee will meet in early August via Zoom to discuss writing an operations manual addressing leadership transitions, membership etc., and deciding how we can best support the Division's stategic plan.
