The mission of this committee is to select a non-active member to receive the award for Outstanding Service to the Division each year. The award is presented at the spring national ACS meeting during the in person Social Reception
We communicate by email. Since the previous fall report, we have solicitated nominations for the 2025 award. Irve Levy received the award for 2024 and he will receive it at this fall meeting since he was unable to attend the spring meeting.
We will send requests for nominations again in January 2025 to be received by February 2025 for the 2025 award. We have two nominations so far and the persons not awarded will have their names held over to be considered next year.
$250 to purchase the apple and base award.
The Apple and base award was purchased. Since the recipient will receive the award in person there is no shipping cost.
The awardee received the award at the Fall 2024 National ACS meeting.
