At the Spring 2025 ACS National Meeting in San Diego, Arlene Russell was recognized as the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award. The award was formally presented during the DivCHED Social on March 23rd.
We are currently accepting nominations for the 2026 Outstanding Service Award. Nominations are due by February 24, 2026.
On June 26th, I contacted the committee to gauge interest in meeting during the ACS Fall National Meeting. The intent was to seek feedback on a potential restructuring of awards and recognitions under a central committee. No responses were received, and as a result, no meeting is currently scheduled.
We will continue to promote the call for nominations for the 2026 Outstanding Service Award and prepare for the review process once nominations are received.
